Robuschi's ROBOX SCREW compressors are designed to save on life and maintenance costs (low life cycle cost). They operate at a high level of efficiency (> 75%) over a wide range of speed(100% to 25%) and have minimal power consumption. The robust construction of the unit, combined with the minimization of the mechanical components used, contributes to the high reliability and extension of the time interval between scheduled maintenance. The ROBOX SCREW assembly's high efficiency and reduced maintenance costs ensure a quick return on initial investment (2 years on average depending on application and operating conditions).

Oil-free screw compressor air-end RSW

The patented Robuschi 3:5 rotor profile guarantees maximum flowrate with the lowest energy consumption. The surface treatment of the screw protects against corrosion and thus the machine performance levels are maintained unchanged throughout the machine life cycle. The rotors are designed with high diameter shafts for excellent resistance to load deformation and thus the compressor works effectively even in the most adverse conditions. Bearings have a longer service life thanks to reduced operating speed.

Class 0 certification according to ISO 8573-1

Isolation of the compression chamber from the oil sumps is done by means of special sealing with labyrinths and oil breathing arrangements, without wearing parts. The compressor is Class 0 certified and complies with ISO 8573-1 for absence of lubricating oil in the discharged air.

 

 

Silent operation

Robuschi's innovative and unique screw profile optimizes the ratio between flowrate and pressure thanks to maximum internal compression performance, resulting in a lower noise level during the compression phase. Combined with the exceptionally low operating speed (maximum speed of 6000rpm) resulting from the absence of a gearbox, especially designed silencers and the highly efficient soundproof cabin, noise emissions are kept to a minimum.

High reliability 

The detailed design and meticulous selection of each component of the oil free screw compressor, combined with low operating speed, make the ROBOX SCREW assembly extremely reliable. At the same time, the SENTINEL 2 and SENTINEL PRO electronic control systems are especially designed by Robuschi to ensure optimum operation of the unit through continuous monitoring of all critical operating parameters.

Vacuum operation 

The new Robuschi (patented) vacuum valve for precise adjustment (+/- 2%) over the entire range of operation of the assembly avoids any energy loss and guarantees high reliability in the required performance.
