The innovative PCM progressive cavity pumps incorporate Moineau Technology and operate at higher pressures than other manufacturers. They are characterized by low shear and zero pulses, they are thus ideal for applications that require continuous flow independent of viscosity or pressure. PCM's MoineauTM technology originating from Rene 'Moineau, the inventor of the progressive cavity principle offers remarkable features, such as :

The pumps consist of a helical rotor, rotating in a helical stator. The rotor is of high precision and is made of specially treated steel of appropriate hardness. The stator is made of special elastomer.

The geometry and dimensions of these parts are such, that when the rotor is mounted on the stator, a double row of watertight cavities is created. On rotation, these cavities are moving forward in the axial sense without altering their shape or volume, transferring the pumped substance from the pump inlet to the outlet.

The pump housing is made of cast iron with the ability to adjust the orifice direction to horizontal or vertical position. The shaft is sealed by a suitable mechanical seal.

 The rotor is driven by the motor shaft by means of adrive shaft assembly comprising two grease-lubricated pin joints with rubber protective sleeves. This device allows the shaft to be rotated and compensate for parallel misalignment between the driving and driven shaft.


The drive is provided by a three-phase flanged electric motor 400V, 50Hz, IP55 protection, class F Insulation class. The motor is directly flanged to the pump body.




For demanding applications and for pumping of corrosive fluids and food products, the Ecomoineau C series is delivered in fully stainless steel execution, in food-grade and/or sanitary design.

If the product is viscous, pasty, sticky, greasy, thick, or concentrated, we provide an appropriate solution for each type of rheology through our range of force feeding progressing cavity pumps – IVA-LVA-GVA Series.
IVA/LVA/GVA pumps are fitted with a feeder hopper and a conveyor screw. The open-throat design allows the fluid to flow in without restriction while the screw feeds the materials into the rotor/stator.
