DRY vacuum pumps are based on "claw" technology and are oil-free machines, ie compression in the chamber is achieved in the absence of oil. The drive is provided by an electric motor connected to the rotors by means of a flexible rubber coupling. Appropriate drive gears (outside the compression chamber) provide the necessary timing to the rotors which control compressed air transport by opening and closing the inlet / outlet channels without any wearing parts.

The gears are housed in an oil sump and the same oil lubricates the pump bearings. The oil sump is separated from the compression chamber by means of a special labyrinth seal and oil-free pump operation is ensured.
